Sergio Brizzolesi

Sergio Brizzolesi was born in Gropparello, in the province of Piacenza, on August 4, 1933. He studied at the Gazzola Art Institute in Piacenza and later at the Brera Academy in Milan, where he completed his artistic training.
Known for his bronze sculptures, Brizzolesi created numerous public monuments throughout Italy, including the monument to Giuseppe Verdi in Parma. His works are characterized by a figurative style and a particular focus on the human figure, especially female subjects.
